With a 'Spring' in its step...March is here!

Every March we like to celebrate St. David's Day with a special selection of incredible Welsh #artists & #makers and this year is no exception! From bold & striking paintings to handmade Welsh #jewellery, luscious #landscapes to #printmaking heaven, we've got some serious talent included.

Our #March 2022 cover art is by the extraordinary talent that is Jan Gardner, courtesy of Life: Full Colour Gallery & their sister venue, The Doctor's Art House in #caernarfon With great exhibitions in the pipeline as well as creative workshops, both of these venues should definitely be on your 'must visit' list.

Talking about 'must visit' venues, Bluestone Gallery in Hay-on-Wye definitely needs to be on there too! With new work in from amazing Welsh artist Alex Brown plus a whole host of art and handcrafted pieces for everyone’s taste, this is a gallery that's firmly made its mark on the local community and beyond.

If all things captivating and magical tickles your fancy, you'll be in awe of the month-long exhibition at the Oriel Cric Gallery in #Crickhowell this March. Showcasing an eclectic range of the work by members of the International Felt Makers Association, this is something quite unique and very special indeed.

Reopening their doors for the first time in 2022, Made in the Marches Gallery in Kington #Herefordshire are back and there's loads to look forward to with their 'Homegrown' exhibition, which runs until the end of April. This wonderful exhibition is a celebration of Kington's very own artists and makers.

If you love #landscapes you'll really love the #charcoals by #welshartist Kevin Williams, on show at the wonderful Giles Gallery this March. This amazing art gallery in the heart of #pontyclun is a converted chapel that's packed with all kinds of creative gift ideas and often has workshops too.

The 'Framework Herefordshire' exhibition continues at the Apple Store Gallery in Hereford, right up until the 23rd of April. The brilliant space not only has artists work on show, but they also have studio space to rent too, perfect for any artist to immerse themselves in all things creative.

Returning to our pages, this time with her extraordinary contemporary art, Daphne & Molly are back, and they are creating captivating work in a great new style using a variety of intricate mediums, including screen printing, collagraph, watercolours and paper cutting!

Bursting back onto our pages aptly in time for Spring, it's Ewemoo. Every home and office needs one of these amazing sheep (as well as many other animals!) footstools. It really is a gift for all occasions. See Ewemoo at this year’s Hay Festival and at the Brecon Craft Fair every 3rd Saturday of the Month.

Whether you're hoping to get more creative or simply seeking out creative gift ideas, our March edition of Art Share Love Wales & Borders Magazine is definitely the perfect guide to steer you in the right direction.

Happy St. David's Day, Happy March, Happy Creating.
