Welcome to April!

Meet the best artists, makers and galleries...

There's hope on the horizon for April to be the start of lockdown easing, so it's with much optimism, that we announce our beloved galleries will 'hopefully' be reopened by the 12th of April.

Our #April edition is available to view now and what a great first edition of the year it is! Summing up where we'd all love to escape, our cover art by the fabulous and award-winning Lucy Pittaway, transports you to those simplistic getaways that take the breath away and leave you with a warm and fuzzy feeling. It's definitely a 'happy place' for us! Read all about Lucy's magical work inside, this is art that will bring a smile to your face!

Speaking of happy places there's a lot to look forward to, the wonderful Made in the Marches Gallery are reopening with their 'Homegrown' exhibition, a fabulous mix of art and craft from silk to porcelain.

New to our pages is West Wales fine artist Jill Jones. Transporting us to Wales' most famous coastline, Jill's incredible work is the ultimate in coastal landscapes.

As we didn't want to miss out on our annual St. David's Day feature, our very best artists & makers of Wales joined us to celebrate their creativity. For gift ideas, this collection is sure to get you inspired.

A gallery close to our heart, The Oriel Cric Gallery in Crickhowell, once again astonishes us with their variety of art available and aim to 'lift the spirits' with their wonderful collection.

A centre for arts in the rolling Radnorshire hills, The Bleddfa Centre is back with an amazing range of abstract art, workshops and mindfulness activities, plus lots more.

A new gallery that has emerged from the picturesque Crickhowell, is the Riverside Gallery, showcasing the art of the talented Sarah Powell. With jewellery making workshops to look forward to, there are lots of reasons to visit this great gallery.

A converted church building The Giles Gallery in Pontyclun is quite an extraordinary space, with art from renowned Welsh artist, Elwyn Thomas, there's lots to see and buy here and a brilliant collection of art, craft, gifts and cards.

With over 20 makers collectively showcasing their work, The Makers Gallery in Crickhowell has an eclectic mix of art for sale for all tastes. From felt works to handcrafted ceramics, it's got it all!

We hope you enjoy this edition as much as we have and if you can't visit these incredible artists and galleries in person, please note that many offer online purchases via their websites.

Get inspired, stay safe and enjoy the creativity.
